MILITARY:
In 1943 during WWII he was drafted into the US Air Force and was trained to be a navigator in a B-24.
WORK EXPERIENCE
FBI: In 1941 Sullivan got a job as a clerk with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington. In 1950 he
became a FBI agent. Sullivan served as an agent for 1 year in Atlanta and for 3 years in New York City.
LAW: He started as an attorney in Ashland in 1956. In January 1957 Sullivan joined attorney H.A. Bryant in his
office in Wahoo. In 1960, Bryant and Sullivan became partners with George Haessler and a law firm was formed in
the building at 666 North Broadway.
PUBLIC OFFICE: Sullivan served as Saunders County Attorney from 1963 to 1975.
